Accuplacer Exam
What I need to Know:
Accuplacer is a web-based assessment tool to determine skills in reading, writing, and math. It is untimed. Students can normally complete it in less than 90 minutes. Accuplacer test scores become available as soon as the student completes the exam.
The entrance exam includes the following sections:
- Sentence Skills
- Reading Comprehension
- Written Essay
- Arithmetic Test
- Science

Accuplacer has extra resources for a minimal fee that you can use to practice for the test. Visit Accuplacer.org and choose a resource.
To be able to sit for the exam you must bring the following to the test:
- State issued photo identification
- Cost of test: $25.00 (credit card or money order accepted)
- A copy of your state approved high school diploma or GED certificate must be on file with admissions (list of approved alternatives)
